A beautiful, large antique ceramic lamp, hand-painted blue and white with colorful floral motifs, yellow lion heads, iron spigot and a pleated white linen lampshade. It was most likely made in Italy, it could have been a wine or water jug or part of a fountain. It’s a large, one-of-a-kind, statement piece. Its old-world European charm pulls you in, the more you look, the more there is to love and appreciate. These types of lamps are getting harder and harder to find. As a Curator and Interior Designer, these are the timeless qualities I seek – knowing it will transcend time, always in style, never trendy.
