Silver Ralph Lauren Bottle Opener
OBJ-025
A great conversation for any hostess, this bottle opener came from the estate of Janyra Jasan (also known as Jeanette Johnson). She was a pivotal figure in the fashion industry, an influential and long time Ralph Lauren’s design executive for over two decades, until 2015. This chic Ralph Lauren bottle opener has a sleek nickel-toned finish that gives it a polished, modern, masculine edge. Its textured handle has a comfortable and secure grip, balancing functionality with a sophisticated aesthetic. At the bottom, the Ralph Lauren logo is stamped, a subtle but distinct mark of authenticity and luxury. It makes a perfect gift for that special friend that appreciates everlasting quality, art & design.
Prior to working with Ralph Lauren, in the 1960s, Jasan was a member of the girl group Candy and the Kisses. Their 1965 hit "The 81" can still be heard on the radio to this day and can be found on YouTube and Spotify. She was also a wonderful abstract expressionist painter, her work was exhibited and sold in the 1980s by the HarrisBrown Gallery in Boston as well as galleries and locations in New York City. A great find, no longer in production, making it more unique & desirable!
